  • oil, for greasing
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tsp yellow mustard, plus a little extra to decorate
  • 12 chipolatas or mini frankfurts
  • 2 sheets of ready to use puff pastry
  • Candy eyes
METHOD:
  1. Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6 and brush 2 baking trays with a little oil. Mix the honey, ketchup and mustard together in a bowl, then brush over the chipolatas or frankfurts.
  2. Cut the pastry into thin strips.
  3. Wind the strips around the chipolatas or frankfurts, leaving a little gap at one end to make a slit for the eyes. Place on baking trays and bake for 20 mins. Cool a little, then add a pair of candy eyes onto each mummy. Serve with blood or tomato sauce.
