Grandparents Day Magazine is a division of Marsha Dearden Communications and was begun following Marsha's and Mary White's involvement in Grandparents for Grandchildren.
Their time with this non-profit organisation led them to see the need for an Australian e-zine dedicated to providing information, lifestyle content and support contacts for grandparents around the nation.
This endeavour was begun long before various government, community or commercial events were even thought of and laid the groundwork for the various Grandparents Day events around the country.
Our Grandparents Day Awards are still the only national awards to honour grandparents who contribute so much to their families and to their communities.
After several years continuous publication, the magazine went into recess for a year when the workload became too much to manage.
With the advent of a new group of volunteers, Grandparents Day Magazine is again being published, at first seasonally and, we hope within the next 12 months, bi-monthly.
The magazine retains its focus on providing a forum for grandparents to express their views, seek information and support, and simply enjoy life.
We welcome contributions, from a wide variety of sources, of information and services that are pertinent to grandparents everywhere.
To submit material, please use the CONTACT US link in the menu at the top of the page.
Grandparents Day Magazine exists solely for the benefit of grandparents. We welcome any input you might like to make and hope you will continue to enjoy our endeavours.
