Serve with brandy custard, cream or your choice of accompaniment.
- Place the fruit and orange juice in a large ceramic bowl. Stir well, cover and let soak overnight in the fridge.
- Next day, preheat oven to 150 degrees C/300 F. Grease a large pudding mould or basin.
- Add flour and spice to the soaked fruit and mix well.
- Pour into prepared mould and bake 1 ½ -2 hours. If it is browning too fast, drape with foil.
