Food, food, food

Red fruits and vegetables are coloured by a natural plant pigment called lycopene. Lycopene is a powerful antioxidant that can help reduce the risk of cancer and keep our hearts healthy.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 cups (224g) defrosted frozen raspberries (or fresh if in season)
  • 2 tbsp Chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp warm water
METHOD:
  • Add all the ingredients to a blender and pulse. For a chunkier texture, pulse only a few times. For a smoother texture, blend longer.
  • Taste the mixture. If you feel it is too tart, add a sweetener of choice (e.g. honey, maple syrup).
  • Transfer to a sterilized container with a lid and chill.
  • Will keep in the fridge for up to one week.
