Make ahead salad
This is a super-easy salad to serve with your street party BBQ. You could add chopped boiled egg if you wish. Best of all, you make it the day before, so you can enjoy the neighbourhood fun.
- Place greens in a 3 qt/3 litre bowl or 13x9 in/33 x 33cm. dish. Layer with celery, peppers, onion and peas.
- Mix mayonnaise, sour cream and sugar; spread over top. Sprinkle with cheese and bacon. Refrigerate, covered, 12 hours or overnight.
